CULLINAN has been in the business of manufacturing and selling commemorative medals through self-produced automated vending machines since 2000.
Our company is a traditional manufacturer of commemorative medals made of noble Nordic Gold material, as well as automated vending machines for the sale of commemorative coins, or Hardox medals, to be precise. What is the difference between a coin and a medal? A coin is a medium of exchange or legal tender with a certain face value. A medal is an item that is not currency, but may have a collector's or financial value subject to the Hallmarking Act. The term "commemorative medal" is therefore not random and is exactly the right term for our products.
Our vending machines are manufactured by MOD Elektronic, a company based in Nové Město na Moravě. The technical solution is registered with the Industrial Property Office. The products have IP43 Ingress Protection Code and are certified in the EU member states for outdoor use.
The vending machines for commemorative medals are made of Swedish hardened sheet metal HARDOX, which is abrasion-resistant and characterized by a high strength. This material is used to make truck bodies or shipping containers. Thanks to the materials used, the machines exceed the normal service life of Depreciation Class 2 even in extreme climatic conditions. We do not sell the vending machines, we lease them. Vending machines are replenished by the operator while the owner provides routine maintenance and 48-hour service.
Vending machines are manufactured in 3 basic designs:
- Coin Vending Machines
- Banknote Vending Machines
- Interactive Vending Machines
The concept of the HW solution uses the components of slot machines from the gaming industry. We use exclusively tried-and-tested components made in Germany, the Netherlands and England. The SW solution is our intellectual property supported by remote surveillance via the Internet using the Mydlink application. Thanks to their simple design, vending machines also have certain disadvantages. They do not change and return money. The main reason we do not support the returning of money is the safety and size of the machine. The overpayment return magazine works on a gravity basis, which would significantly increase the height requirement and the necessary stock of small change would worsen the insurance conditions. When selling our products, we work with a price that does not necessarily require returning overpayments.
In addition to the standard Certificate of Compliance, the vending machines also have the IP43 Certificate issued by the National Testing Laboratory. Our machines are able to work with additional equipment without warranty in temperatures from -35 to +55 degrees Celsius, with a warranty from -20 to +40 degrees Celsius. We have installations both beyond the Caucasus and on the Italian Peninsula.
